Aerial Filming Case Study – National Georgraphic

Aerial Filming Documentary Production
Warner Brothers UK production division called and asked us to work with them on a project for NatGeo TV. It was an upcoming TV series that had special challenges. Aerial filming documentary production always presents challenges and this was no different. First we needed to fly in tight conditions during live fire at a gun range. That was followed up with flying offshore at a Navy training ground, again with bullets flying everywhere. With flight plans filed and approvals from the Government agencies involved we captured fantastic footage. In this case, the client only required HD footage and specifically requested the DJI Inspire X5R. While we normally fly our large aircraft with RED or Arri cameras, we do provide small aircraft when either requested by the client or dictated by the budget.
